"The University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology has an outstanding and longstanding research mission," explained Misha Rosenbach, MD,Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. “We were one of the first research institutions for dermatology in the nation.”
Since its creation in 1874, Penn Medicine's Department of Dermatology has made several historical breakthroughs, including the development of Retin-A for acne as well as many other cutting-edge treatments that are still being developed.
