In this video, Gregory Ginsberg, MD, Director of Endoscopic Services at Penn Medicine, performs an esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) in a patient with nodular Barrett’s esophagus indefinite for dysplasia, a category in which it’s not possible to determine whether changes in the mucosa are inflammatory or oncogenic in nature.
